Trump to hold immigration hearing on visa suspension

Trump to address immigration visa suspension, saying it was a result of the president’s “failure to do the right thing” on immigration.

Trump is expected to address the suspension of visas for citizens of seven countries — Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria — that the U.S. says have provided material support to terrorism.

Trump has repeatedly called for a temporary halt to the suspension and said he would not be able to get a new visa to enter the U-S.

without the visa.

Trump is expected on Thursday to say the ban is “a result of his failure to do what is right.”

The administration is not ruling out the possibility of a full suspension of travel to the U.-S.

by citizens of those countries, but Trump has been vague about when he would do so.
